A common dental emergency is when a patient’s crown pops off. If this happens to you, try not to panic, but call the office to make an appointment right away. When your crown falls off, immediately take it out of your mouth to avoid swallowing it, and do not try to glue it back yourself.
Don’t delay your dental visit, as additional problems can occur (such as bacterial infections, teeth shifting, and damage to the tooth and gums). At your visit, Dr. Meytin will determine the proper treatment and repair.
